❗Important Update: Exhibition Launch Postponed❗
Due to unexpected and unforeseen circumstances, the upcoming launch event scheduled for 11 September has been postponed.

The good news is that the new exhibition dates are 13 November to 11 December with the launch being Friday November 13, 6-8pm.

At the launch, you’ll have the special opportunity to meet and talk with some of the artists whose powerful works are featured in the exhibition.

Happy Father’s Day!

Today we give thanks for the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors and father figures who nurture, encourage and walk alongside us.

We celebrate the love, wisdom, strength and care they bring to our families and communities, and we also hold space for those for whom Father’s Day can be difficult, remembering that love and family take many different forms.

Truth-Telling: Our Past, Present and Future

Join us for the launch of a powerful exhibition featuring the artworks and stories of KBH Survivors, sharing experiences of the past, the legacies left behind, and journeys of reconnecting with family and culture.

The exhibition also features Noongar and Spinifex visual storyteller Tace Steven’s photographic collaboration with KBH Survivors, We Were Just Little Boys.

Paddington Uniting Church on Friday, 28 August, from 11:00am–3:00pm.

This is an opportunity to come together, connect with community, share stories, and learn more about mental health and wellbeing in a safe, welcoming and culturally supportive environment.

Lunch will be provided, with time to yarn, connect and build community.

The day is supported by NAII, Babana Men’s Shelter, Paddington Uniting Church and the PHN, working together to support First Nations health, wellbeing and community connection.
