Service times: 9:30am (English), 9:30am (Chinese). Various mid-week Bible Study groups and Playtime (Thursdays). Islington Baptist is a growing, multicultural church for the Islington, Maryville, Tighes Hill & wider Newcastle community shaped by God's love and sharing the life-changing message of Jesus. Our main church service is held from 9:30-10:45am on Sundays, and is open to people from all ba

ckgrounds, with live translation options for many languages to help everyone participate. Twice a month (on the 2nd and 4th Sundays) we also run a Chinese service at the same time in another part of the building (follow the signs from the church carpark) as part of our focus ministry to welcome and serve Chinese speaking people. If you've got questions about God or want to keep growing in your faith, we’d love for you to consider with us what God says about himself in the Bible and to become part of our community.

Hot cross buns after a reflective service on Friday.
Preschool and Primary kids programs on Sunday with Easter Egg hunt, and then BBQ, snow cones, a popcorn after the service.
