This weekend is Families@Five…
We will be learning about Advent and getting ready for Christmas… and our ‘craft’ this month is something special for our community.
We hope you’ll bring a plate and come join us for a special evening.

Thanks to Bishop Charlie who came to our very special "funky Hat Thursday" session of Mainly music this week at Christ Church Cathedral, and getting to know the families and even "going on a super scary bear hunt!" 😆

Yep, that's right folks! This coming Thursday (20th/11) is CRAZY HAT THURSDAY - for Mainly Music Christ Church Cathedral Families. There is absolutely NO rules, and you do not have to par-take, just a bit of fun that one of the Grandparents suggested, so we aim to please! Craft, readings, music and PIZZA for dinner from the lovely Dean Katherine and David!
We will also be joined by the wonderful St Nicholas Choir, so it’s certainly one not to be missed!

I wonder what our theme will be this month?
We can tell you this, it’s going to be a very special one!

Last month our theme was ‘growing in faith - from little things big things grow’….
We made bouquets of flowers from pipe cleaners and had a lot of fun….

Oops! We forgot to share our photos from last month!
Last month our theme was ‘Room for Everyone’
We learned some valuable lessons about caring for our neighbours and being welcoming.
We made friendship bracelets and enjoyed dinner together!
We’re also had the wonderful St Nicholas join us!
We’re about to kick off this month’s service! Hope to see you soon!
