🏃 Run2Cure Community Event – Sunday 16 August 2026

Please be aware that the annual Run2Cure event will be taking place around New Farm Park and surrounding streets on Sunday, 16 August 2026.

🚗 Road closures and changed traffic conditions will be in place from approximately 5:45am – 1:00pm, which may affect access to Holy Spirit Parish, New Farm.

🕊️ Planning to Attend Mass?

We encourage all parishioners and visitors to:

✅ Allow extra time for travel and parking
✅ Plan your route before leaving home
✅ Be prepared for temporary road closures or alternate access routes
✅ Take care around shared pedestrian pathways, as these will be used by event participants

🙏 Thank you for your patience, understanding and cooperation while this wonderful community event takes place.

As we celebrate Mother’s Day, we give thanks for the parents, carers, grandparents, guardians, mentors, and nurturing figures who enrich our lives with love, strength, guidance, and compassion.

This beautiful blessing invites us to reflect on the many people who support, encourage, and care for others each and every day. It is also a time to hold close in our thoughts those who may find this season difficult, while celebrating the many forms that love, care, and family can take.

The Mass will be celebrated by **Fr Fransisco Evangelista**.

Following the celebration, please join us for tea and coffee under the veranda at Mercy House, in a spirit of fellowship and community.

This event is organised with the support of the **Honorary Consulate of Portugal**.

All are welcome to attend and share in this special day of prayer and remembrance.
