// Had a very special moment today with Rabbi Mendel at Cremorne Synagogue. After people came to light a candle at the church, I decided to pass a note to the Cremorne Synagogue who is on the same street as us, showing our support and love. Wasn’t expecting anyone to be there but how incredible that members of the Cremorne Congregation and Rabbi Mendel were out front (he only began his posting recently). He was so gracious and grateful and we committed that our two communities would support each other as good neighbours. Out of this tragedy may this be the beginning of a shared bond of devoted people of faith.

May we continue to support our Jewish neighbours, friends and siblings in this difficult time. Thanks Jo for taking the photo and buying the flowers //

// Dear Loving God. We light this candle believing that your light of love and inclusion will respond to any darkness of violence and hate towards our Jewish sisters and brothers. We pray for all traumatised by the last 24 hrs. We wrap our arms around those in shock. In the name of Jesus who responded to violence with love. Amen //

// A Prayer for Bondi // Loving God we pray for all the people hurting in our city. For those who are scared. For those in shock. For those in mourning. For the innocent lives lost. For the Jewish Community celebrating Hanukkah at the time. Be our rock in this time of terror. Help us receive and to share Gods presence now and in the painful days ahead. In Jesus name we pray. Amen //
