Melody Park Visit
Last Sabbath our Gold Coast Central young adults spent a beautiful afternoon visiting the residents at Melody Park, and what a joy it turned out to be.
They arrived with their instruments in hand, voices, and open hearts all ready to share music, conversation, and connection. Before long, the lounge was filled with familiar hymns, gentle harmonies, and the sound of residents singing along.
Between songs, there were lovely moments of chatting together. Stories were shared, memories revisited, and plenty of smiles. The residents were deeply appreciative, and our young adults were just as blessed by the warmth and welcome they received.
It was a simple visit, but a meaningful one. A reminder of how powerful music and companionship can be. We’re grateful for our young adults who gave their Sabbath afternoon to bring joy to others, and we look forward to more opportunities to connect with our Melody Park family again soon.
