Join us this week as we go through Revelation chapter 7 as a church together.

This passage describes another apocalyptic vision where people from every tribe, nation, and language are gathered around the throne of the Lamb (Jesus). They are clothed in white robes, hold palm branches in their hands, and proclaim with a loud roar that “Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne and from the Lamb!”

We finally discover that this Lamb on the throne will be their Shepherd, will lead them to springs of life-giving water, and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.

If some of this sounds confusing, which is totally normal, we recommend checking out the Revelation overview of chapters 1-11 from The Bible Project on YouTube. Let us know what you’re learning from Revelation.

This week we’re diving back into the book of Revelation together and will pick it back up in chapter 4.

In the next couple of chapters, the author describes an apocalyptic vision of the throne room of God and tremendous worship in heaven. We’re told that the one sitting on the throne was as brilliant as gemstones. 24 elders surround the one on the throne, as well as four terrifying creatures, and together they continually sing, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty.”

Let’s slowly read through the passage together this week. What are you noticing in the text? If you have any questions on Revelation, let us know in the comments and we’ll do our best to answer with more Revelation content in the coming month.

Merry Christmas!!

"For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but will have eternal life." (John 3: 16 NLT)

For a child is born to us,
a son is given to us.
The government will rest on his shoulders.
And he will be called:
Wonderful Counselr, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace
(Isaiah 9: 6 NLT)

Praying that your Christmas is safe, filled with joy and full of the light and life of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. Remember what He has done for us and share His love for us through your words and actions...
