The Parish was formed on February 16, 1980 and now has over 20,000 Parishioners! We're so glad to be able to connect with you on this platform. We are on an exciting journey as we explore, understand, and wholeheartedly embrace and sustain our faith together. Let me start this New Year with a very special blessing taken from the Book of Numbers (6: 25): “May God bless you and keep you. May he let his face shine on you, and be gracious to you. This Life in the Spirit Seminar is for teenagers and youth adults: The Life in the Spirit Seminar is a Catholic retreat for all levels of faith. It’s an opportunity to be inspired by Christ’s love and example. The sessions are made up of Talks accompanied with Activity, Testimony, small group discussions, time for praise and worship, Adoration, Reconciliation, Holy Mass. 🔗REGISTRATION LIBK IN BIO

World Day for Grandparents and Elderly is the weekend of the 26th of July a special blessing will be given to grandparents and older persons during the weekend of the 26th of July, after the 11:00am Mass. All grandparents and older persons are warmly invited to the Parish Centre for lite refreshments after mass for music and games from 12:30pm to 2:30pm. If you are a parishioner aged 65+, please register at the Welcome Desk.

Happy Feast of OUR LADY HELP OF CHRISTIANS 🩵 - Mary was given the name “Mary Help of Christians” because she helped the baby Australian Church survive when it had no priests, no Mass, no sacraments, and it was growing up with poor members and unfriendly authorities.

The early Catholic community of Australia knew what a helper she had been to Jesus, and to Christians down the ages, and so they wanted her for their own.

Fast-forward two centuries and Catholics are now the biggest religion in Australia and Our Lady graces our schools, parishes, hospitals and so many works of mercy in our nation.

May we continue to call upon Mary Help of Christians to bring us closer to her divine Son and to help us and our loved ones in all our needs. Mary, Help of Christians, pray for us! - Bishop Anthony Fisher
