For the next 2 weeks, starting from THIS SUNDAY - we will be doing a Food Drive.

What is a Food Drive?
- A community organised event aimed to collect non-perishable food items for those who are in need.

How it works?
- We will have stations at both the Dandenong chapel & Narre Warren Stake Centre - with posters of instructions, what items to bring & where to place them.

If you’re able, we’d appreciate any donations possible. Many hands make light work 🙂🩵

SINGLE ADULTS:

The Correlation Research Division of the Church is conducting a survey of Single Adults throughout the Pacific Area. The purpose of this survey is to help leaders of the Church understand the self-reliance, social, and spiritual needs of the Single Adults (“SA”).

We invite all Single Adults to participate in the survey, noting responses will always remain confidential, and will be used only in combination with other responses to observe the population collectively. This survey should take 10-15 minutes to complete.

The survey is now live and will remain so for 3 weeks, it can be accessed at:

GENERAL CONFERENCE INVITATION:

Dear Brothers and Sisters:
We invite all to join as we hear the word of God during the upcoming 196th Semiannual General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The First Presidency, members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, and other General Authorities and General Officers of the Church will share messages of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
General sessions for all individuals, families, and friends will be held on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4. (This is US time so we will be viewing this the following week at Narre Warren Stake centre on both Saturday and Sunday or view at home).
General conference provides an opportunity to receive personal revelation as Church leaders give counsel and direction from the Lord. We encourage all to listen to, study, ponder, and apply the counsel given.

There are a lot of gospel analogies here. Don’t compare yourself to others. Mistakes/ failure is part of the plan. If we are trying to be a little bit better today than yesterday that is enough. Progress is a slow journey. Success is in not giving up and as a result we will keep improving.
I love you all.
No matter where you are at in your journey in life please keep trying, don’t give up, you will do better.
The Saviour will keep coaching you and give you infinite opportunities to start over.

I hope you have had a delightful Sabbath.
Just a quick update regarding the cultural hall works that are ongoing.

****URGENT UPDATE****

The Cultural Hall at the Narre Warren Chapel will continue to be unavailable from 6:00am Monday 31st August until 6:00am on SUNDAY 6th September.

The hall floor will be undergoing repainting and resealing, and there will be no access to the Cultural Hall during this time.
