With the congregation electing elders currently, it is a timely reminder of the Biblical attributes God expects of His under-shepherds for His flock.

Pastor Wal Brown shared a couple of sermons on Titus 1:1-9 on Elder/Overseer characterisitcs this past fortnight. Of course, all believers should strive to mature for these same features in themselves.
