PSALM 23
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

Yesterday was such a sweet time together, and Pastor Stu preached on strengthening yourself in the Lord through Psalm 23. It was GOOD.

Hi Church & Friends,

We are smack-bang in the middle of our series this month, ‘God Comes Where He’s Wanted’. This is all about starting a new year with the right priorities- a re-dedication of our lives to the Lord, bringing Him our ‘first fruits’. In addition to our sermon series and devotions, I encourage you to spend some time in fasting and prayer during January also.

If you haven’t caught up on our daily devotions, you can find them here:https://static1.squarespace.com/static/63628816708bd87e32fd6ecd/t/677a86fe35b1d26b9d1336bc/1736083198918/God+Comes+Where+He%27s+Wanted+30+Day+Devo.pdf

I highly recommend you make a priority of slowly reading and reflecting on these daily thoughts. If you’ve been following along day to day, this week you would be reading all about the Altar of the Home.

If you’re a parent with kids still at home, I especially urge you to dive into these 7 days. Read them together as husbands and wives if possible, and let it further your conversations and prayers concerning how your home will operate in 2026!

I am looking forward to the coming weeks as we continue to posture our hearts, our homes, church and city before the Lord. Let’s together be seeking first His kingdom and righteousness, praying ‘your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.’

In September, Pastor Stu wrote a fourteen day devotional on the book of Nehemiah for the house to engage with.

This week the devotional has been released on the Bible App! 📖

The book of Nehemiah has much to teach us about personal leadership, faith, vision, a community on mission, God’s faithfulness, spiritual renewal and a call to holiness and rejoicing!
