Good morning Everyone. Just letting you know that today’s Community Sausage Sizzle is cancelled due to the ongoing rain. Thanks to all those who volunteered to cook – we’ll put you work next time 😊. Looking forward to seeing many of you tomorrow. And remember our Easter Services are:

Good afternoon. For all who knew him, Neil Webb passed to glory yesterday. A Memorial Service for Neil will be held on Monday October 21st, 2024 at 10.00am at Nambour Wesleyan Methodist Church, 165 Perwillowen Road, Burnside, followed by refreshments. All welcome.

What Happens at Alpha?⁠

Every Alpha is different but the core elements stay the same. There is time for connection with one another, be that a meal, snack or cup of tea over Zoom. Then, we watch a video together, and afterwards, we have a conversation about it. ⁠

In the conversation time, you share what you think. You can say as much or as little as you want, and nothing is off-limits. Seriously.⁠

Nambour Methodist Church to host Christmas BBQ.

For the second year Nambour Wesleyan Methodist Church at Burnside are hosting their Community Christmas BBQ lunch on Saturday December 9 at noon.

“This year we’re adding carols after lunch and some games. We’ll have burgers and snags, and salads and sweets, and a can of soft drink – all free,” said Pastor Scott Lucas.

“So we’d love to see people from our community drop in and meet some other locals from the neighbourhood too, play some games and have some fun in a very relaxed and easy

atmosphere - and then head have some carols to sing along to.”

The fortnightly New Wave Kids and New Wave Youth will kick off again in February 2024 when Pastor Scott returns from some long service leave and it’s still just $2 per child or $5 a family.

“In the meantime our Christmas Day Service will happen at 8am Christmas Morning and our regular Sunday services will continue each Sunday at 9am. We’d love to see you.”
