Discover the stories, symbolism and significance of the Great Stupa with one of our knowledgeable tour guides.

Our fully guided, one-hour tours run Monday to Friday at:

🕧 11:30pm
🕝 2pm

Tickets can be purchased from the Visitor Centre when you arrive. Tours may also be available in Hindi, Punjabi and Spanish, depending on guide availability. To enquire about a multilingual tour, email [email protected].

Join us and the Hindu Society Bendigo at the Great Stupa this Saturday 12 September, to celebrate Sree Krishna Janmashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna 💙

Enjoy devotional rituals, a ceremonial procession, music, cultural performances, face painting, henna and activities for the whole family.

We have been deeply grateful to welcome Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche to the Great Stupa this week for a special course hosted by Tergar Australia.

Around 250 participants gathered inside the Great Stupa each day, with an extraordinary 600 people joining the White Tara Empowerment.

It has been a truly special few days filled with teachings, connection and inspiration. Thank you to Mingyur Rinpoche, Tergar Australia and everyone who travelled from near and far to be part of this memorable occasion 🙏

Visiting the Great Stupa next week?

Access inside the Stupa temple will be limited from Monday 31 August to Friday 4 September as we welcome Mingyur Rinpoche for a retreat.

The temple will be open to visitors:
✨ Monday — until 11am
✨ Friday — from 1:30pm

The temple will be closed to the public at all other times during the retreat, but the rest of our beautiful site will remain open as usual!

Come and enjoy a meal or coffee at StupaView Café, wander through the Peace Park, or take a peaceful walk around the Great Stupa (circumambulation). There’s still plenty to enjoy. 💛

We're thrilled to welcome the wonderful teacher, Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche, next week for a special 5-day retreat inside the Great Stupa!

Because of this exciting event, the Stupa will be closed to the public from Monday, August 31st, until Friday, September 4th.

You are still welcome to explore the Peace Park or enjoy a delicious meal at our StupaView Café.
