“Let it be with me according to your word.”
Luke 1:38

Mary’s “yes” to God is not a single moment. It is a posture. Mary’s “yes” is way of living. Mary’s “yes” is the embodied willingness to let God’s future unfold through her life.

This Sunday, 9 August, the Upper Hunter Minster Churches will celebrate the Feast of Mary, Mother of our Lord.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

150 Ways in 150 Days

The Adventures of Mary Ursula
A happy reunion took place at the Overseas and Northern Outreach Service at New Lambton, as Murial and Mary Ursula were reunited.

Murial was so proud of all that Mary Ursula had experienced on her travels. Along the way, she had witnessed and shared the love of Mothers Union, made many new friends, celebrated faithful service, and discovered the many ways members are making a difference in their local communities, across the Diocese, and around the world.

Together, they reminded everyone that Mothers Union is more than an organisation - it is a family united in faith, prayer, and service. Mary Ursula's first journey may have come to an end, but the mission of sharing God's love and supporting families continues every day through the faithful ministry of Mothers Union members.

“When we learn to read the story of Jesus and see it as the story of the love of God, doing for us what we could not do for ourselves - that insight produces, again and again, a sense of astonished gratitude which is very near the heart of authentic Christian experience.”

- N.T. Wright

Commencing on Sunday, 16th August from 4.00pm,
SANCTUS, meaning holy, or hallowed,
is a space to explore faith, belonging, and God’s love.

SANCTUS is a warm, inclusive gathering for all ages and all stages of faith.

We begin with afternoon tea. You may bring something to share, but there is no expectation—just a chance to gather, connect, and enjoy one another’s company.

Music and singing help us lift our hearts and turn our attention to the God who made, loves, and knows us.

Through creative arts, we explore Bible stories and God’s power at work today.

Here, curiosity is welcomed, doubts are understood, and faith can grow gently.

We make space for prayer and quiet reflection—a peaceful invitation to pause, breathe, and rest in God’s love.

COME AS YOU ARE.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME.
