As you would have heard by now Ps Tim and Tania are stepping away from Pastoring . Our last Sunday will be the 1st March at 2pm at the baptist church 79 Sydney St Muswellbrook . We would like to invite everyone who would like to be a part of our farewell celebration 🎉 🎊to come and join us .

G'day Legends.

I wanted to let everyone know that Pastors Allan and Rhonda Ward will be stepping in as Interim Senior Pastors after Tania and I finish on the 1st of March.

I joined the church that Pastor Allan and Rhonda were the senior pastors of in January 1997, nearly 30 years ago. Tania was part of that church even longer. They have mentored and trained Tania and me so we could be released as senior pastors. They are a beautiful couple who love God with everything they have, and they love the body of Christ passionately.

I was excited to hear that this wonderful couple would be stepping in to care for The Vines Community Church because I know them, I know their hearts, and I know they will take the church where God wants it to go.

Pastors Allan and Rhonda will be visiting the church on Sunday 22nd of February (this coming Sunday). Can I encourage everyone to come to this service and meet your Interim Senior Pastors, who will confidently guide this body of believers into the future.

I know Pastors Allan and Rhonda are keen to meet you, to get to know you and give you an opportunity to get to know them.

G’day Champions,

I made an announcement on Sunday that Tania and I were stepping away from pastoring. Our last day at The Vines Community Church will be on March 1st this year. The primary reason is that I would need to get a second job again to free up funds for the church to pay its bills. Tania and I have given so much of ourselves to serving the people who make up our church that I no longer feel I’m capable of running the church and holding down a second job. I have damaged myself too much in the past doing that, and I don’t want to do it again. Tania and I have given everything we have to looking after the churches we have pastored, and now it’s time for someone else to take over and do what we don’t have the energy to do anymore.

The church will not be left in limbo, without leadership. We are part of the INC movement, a family of churches spreading across Australia and around the world. The leadership of INC (the National Executive) have been aware of Tania’s and my decision since last year, and they are working to find solutions. Tania and I are working with them too.

The following link is from Gary Hourigan, my Network Leader and a part of the National Executive. Please have a listen, and be reassured that the transition is being taken care of.
