Please RSVP to Nell at [email protected]. At the last community consultation around 10 years ago all these things listed below came from it, so let’s gather again in 2026 and see what unfolds:
- Spring Clean Murrumbeena
- State Government police station advocacy
- Advocacy around the old Billy motor site - which is now earmarked for apartments
- Make Murrumbeena Mine (which is now the Make Murrumbeena Kind Facebook group)
- Training around how to start up local initiatives
- Advocacy for murals in Murrumbeena village
- Revamp of the traders association
- Support for the opening of Murrumbeena w**e bar (there were no bars in Murrumbeena at the time of the consult)
Local Sundays and Starry Night emerged independently but with the momentum of what happened after the consultation.
