Come along Sunday to welcome our Bishop Andrew Brook at Monarto 9am and Christ Church 10.30am.
Take Holy Communion with the Bishop at either service, stay for a quick cuppa at Monarto or head to the 10.30am service, where we will have a bring & share lunch in the JDHall to enjoy fellowship and chat with Bishop Andrew.
Please note there will be NO 9am Lay Read Service at Holy Cross this Sunday, to ensure we all get the opportunity to say hi to Bishop Andrew and his lovely wife Jodi.

Pastor Dave had a crazy idea that we should start doing evening services.
Let's give it a go, not having to worry about dinner on a Sunday night sounds pretty good to me.

And yet, even this doesn’t quite capture how truly amazing Delton Shiller is.

The CEO of Murray Bridge Lutheran Villages, Delton leads an organisation that has been providing retirement living options since 1982. Guided by Christian values, the group is committed to offering quality housing in a caring, safe and welcoming community where wellbeing, respect and connection are at the heart of daily life.

We give thanks for Delton's faithful leadership and dedication in serving both residents and the wider Lutheran community. Thank you, Delton, for all you do in service to God and His people. May God continue to bless and guide your work.

💒♥A Wonderful Journey Through Bridal History and Fashion!♥💒

The MVLC hosted a Bridal Parade held 15th August, 2026 at John Dohler Hall.

Thank you to every single person who came along and supported the Bridal parades with applause, encouragement and generosity, creating such a wonderful atmosphere and helped make the day truly special. From a treasured 1904 Wegener heirloom gown, through the decades and right up to recent bridal gowns, the Fashion Parade was much more than a fashion show. It was a celebration of love, memories, friendship, history and community.

A big thank you to Carol Kruschel and her incredible bridal team for their dedication and enthusiasm to bring this event to life!
