🌿 Join us for Holy Week at Sacred Heart Parish - Mundaring! 🌿

As we continue our journey through Lent, we invite you to mark your calendars for the upcoming Holy Week liturgies (April 2nd-5th) and join us in prayer and reflection during this sacred time. 🙏

💧 Holy Thursday - Mass of the Lord's Supper at 7:00 pm, followed by an hour of silent prayer.
✝️ Good Friday - Stations of the Cross at 10:00 am, followed by Confession; The Passion of the Lord at 3:00 pm.
🔥 Holy Saturday - The Easter Vigil, Service of Light at 7:00 pm.
✨Easter Sunday - Celebrate the joy of the resurrection with Mass at 7:30 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel, Chidlow, and 9:30 am back at Sacred Heart, Mundaring.

🙏 Let us come together in prayer and reflection during this sacred season, leading to the joyful celebration and hope that the resurrection brings at Easter. Everyone is welcome! 💖

Looking not to just 'give up' something for Lent, but take up something for your Lenten Renewal? In addition to our usual Tuesday 10am group and 7pm Wednesday gatherings, we have a new 9am Thursday Faith and Coffee discussion group in the Church patio, centred on how the scriptures guide us into a Christ-centred spiritual renewal. Running each Thursday in Lent, we specially welcome parents after school drop off to come and join for a cuppa and invitation to go deeper this Lent. 🙏 Please directly message for details of Tuesday and Wednesdays group if interested. ☺️

For those not in our parish school, here are some dates for your diary of an after school sacramental program of preparation for the sacraments is scheduled for children of year 3 and up preparing for their 1st Reconciliation, year 4 and up preparing for first Holy Communion, and Year 6 and up preparing for their Confirmation. 🥞 Volunteers Needed – Pancake Day! 🥞

Sacred Heart Parish is getting ready for Lent with a Pancake Day — a chance to enjoy good food and explore some of the rich cultural traditions connected to the season.

We’d love your help to make it a fun and welcoming event for everyone!

📅 When: Sunday, Feb 15th
⏰ Time: 10:30am, following the 9:30am Mass
📍 Where: Patio Area | Sacred Heart Parish

We’re looking for volunteers to help with:
• Flipping pancakes & cooking
• Serving food
• Setting up and packing away
• General helping hands on the day

✨ No experience needed — just a willingness to help and a smile!
All ages are welcome, and even a short time makes a big difference.

This is a great chance to support the parish, meet others, and be part of a lovely community tradition.

MEN’S PRAYER GROUP 🙏

Each Thursday night, the men of Sacred Heart gather to pray the Rosary, share life over a cuppa, and reflect together on the upcoming weekend Gospel reading. It’s relaxed, welcoming, and deeply grounding.
