Last Saturday Holy Family & St Mary Magdelen Parishes along with St Peter's East Keilor, made their annual Lenten Pilgrimage to Ta Pinu in Bacchus Marsh. Weather was perfect and the day was too! Thank you to all who were involved in the organisation & preparatrion of the event. Thank you Fr Justel, Fr Stephen, Fr Anil & Deacon Hubert and to all who joined us in pray.

This annual international service has been taking place in Australia since 1927 and in Monash since 1976. The theme for 2026 is ‘I will give you rest: Come’ and the focus is the people of Nigeria. (More information is available at www.worlddayofprayeraustralia.org .)

This year the World Day of Prayer will be hosted at Holy Family parish on Friday 6 March at 10.15am. An opportunity to come together with other Christians and pray for the needs of the Nigerian people, hear a speaker from Nigeria, and enjoy shared refreshments afterwards.

There will be an opportunity for cash donations during the service. These funds will go to the Bible Society to support current projects for the people of Nigeria.
