Hope all the Dads and fatherly figures in families had a blessed Father's Day yesterday. Fr Justel was busy with his basket of Tim Tams gifting dads as they left Mass.

You are warmly invited to participate in the annual Corpus Christi Procession to be held on
Sunday, 7 June 2026, commencing at 2:00pm at St Patrickā€™s Cathedral, Melbourne.
Following a time of Eucharistic adoration within the Cathedral, the procession with the Blessed Sacrament will make its way through the streets of the city to Federation Square for Benediction.

Last Sunday at St Mary Magdalen Parish, we celebrated Fr Stephen's 60th Birthday. A joyous gathering of parishioners from both parishes along with the South Sudanese Community. Many thanks goes to the parishioners of St Mary Magdalen for hosting the event. To all who volunteered in the planning of the day, the food preparation, decorations and hall set up, great job!

Pentecost Multicultural Day. Wow, what a day!
Thank you to all the international communities in our parish for their hard work and time in preparing all the delicious food that was shared by all. Thank you to the volunteers who gave of their time to set up and clean up afterwards in our hall and those who supplied photos. A very special mention goes to Maureen Mack who is the person that makes this happen! Her tireless work and dedication to our parish is beyond words. We were a few troops down this year, but the General that she is, got the job done! Thank you all on behalf of the Parish community.

Pentecost Sunday Mass was a beautiful celebration of our Church's birthday. Music was supplied by our Korean Community Choir, brilliant as always. Fr Francis Park concelebrated with Fr Justel. Our Prayers of the Faithful were read in 6 languages and also one translated in Auslan by our primary school students. Thank you to those who captured the occasion.

Last year Fr Justel attended The Catholic University of America in Washington DC to attend a compulsory intensive workshop in order to complete his 2 year course in Ecclesial Administration and Management.
Recently he received an invitation to attend the graduation and receive his Master of Science at the university.
After some deliberation and convincing, he accepted the offer to attend.
How often do you get to graduate in the United States of America, l say! We congratulate him on this achievement. So happy to see him alongside his fellow class members.
