Stunning impressions from the Australian tour with Lama Ole.

I have finally arrived in Australia! It is more amazing than I had imagined, the great land down under, the land of endless sun and waves. We’re now in Gold Coast, where it’s mid-summer so coming from the -15 degrees of Eastern Europe has been quite the pleasant shocker. But no worries, for here the sun is bright and shining, its hot and humid like the tropics, the waves crash on the beach throwing summery spray and salty mist everywhere, the water is really warm, and best of all Lama Ole Nydahl has arrived! So begins my new adventure, so begins another wondrous time spent with new friends, creating new memories in a place I had previously only dreamed of going. I arrived late last night after a near endless series of flights, so this is just a quick sneak into what is to come. Today’s highlights; A jump in the ocean, lots of friends meditating together, a talk by Lama Ole full of his usual wit and humor, and finally a moonlit guided Diamond Mind practice as a group led by Ole himself to end the evening. All this and the course hasn’t even started yet - so it seems were off to a good start!

A few weeks ago our Italian friends in Bologna hosted a "Volcanic" fundraising dinner for the Mt Warning project: hot Mexican food and spicy conversations :) It's so nice to know that far away friends are so connected.

The Sydney sangha held their very own 'pop up' restaurant at the new centre earlier this month to raise money for the Mt Warning Retreat Centre.
Fifteen friends enjoyed the lunch that was prepared by chefs Gary & Gaby, served by the finest wait staff, and paired with the most amazing wines.
Sydney raised almost $1000 and all profits went to the project!
