Gedday Paul knew what the truth of Christ, the gospel of salvation, was so he wasnt going to stop telling his testimony and telling others how to be saved because even then there were false apostles and deceitful workers around trying to deceive. So we houldnt be surprised when we hear the differing gospels (which are not really gospels at all) presented because satan is still masquerading as an angel of light trying to deceive. The proof of what the truth is, is when we experience God confirming his word with signs following in our own lives 2Cor11v10-15

2 Corinthians 11:10-15 (KJV) As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.
Wherefore? because I love you not? God knoweth.
But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Gedday Israel was coming to the end of their relationship with God. The Assyrians were coming. The summer fruit would soon perish. They had become deceitful in business and turned from Gods standards. Their feast days woud be turned to mourning and bitterness and eventually all would be washed away. Amos8v1-10

Amos 8:1-10 (KJV) Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and behold a basket of summer fruit.
And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.
And the songs of the temple shall be howlings in that day, saith the Lord GOD: there shall be many dead bodies in every place; they shall cast them forth with silence.
Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,
Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?
That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?
The LORD hath sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.
Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwelleth therein? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.

Gedday The Sabbath was set up so mankind could stop and reflect on God and all that he was doing for them. It was made for man, not to change or adat to suit his ideas. Where Jesus is, is where Gods power was and people with him would be reflecting and thanking God for the miracles seen and experienced Mark2v23-28

Mark 2:23-28 (KJV) And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.
And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?
And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?
And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:
Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Gedday It is like so many things in our walk with God that when we make a stand for him to be separate from the temptations our world is offering then God will bless that stand and others will see it. We may not understand how it happens but Gods blessing will be more wholesome, beneficial and worthwhile than what is being offered by our natural world Dan1v8-21

Daniel 1:8-21 (KJV) But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.
And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king.
Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,
Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.
Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.
So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.
And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat.
Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.
As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.
Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.
And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king.
And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.
And Daniel continued even unto the first year of king Cyrus.

Gedday This symbolizes the decay and collapse of the Roman empire. Death was coming and a quarter of the Empire would become its victim because of war, famine, pestilence and wild beasts. The year 250 to 300AD was disastrous because of attacks from the Goths, pestilence and collapse of agriculture Rev6v7-8

Revelation 6:7-8 (KJV) And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Gedday This is Gods promise to us that he will direct our paths. The hard part is for us to let go of our thoughts and ideas to trust God with all our heart. Dont condemn ourselves for this because thats why God has given us his Holy Spirit so we can pray to strengthen our faith to believe and trust in him Prov3v5-6

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

✨ What a brilliant night! ✨

A huge thank you to the Adelaide young people who travelled down and performed 'The Mad Hatter's Tea Party'. Through plenty of laughs and a fantastic skit, we were reminded that God's Word is "sharper than any two-edged sword" (Hebrews 4:12).

We were also thrilled to welcome 10 new people! A special thank you to the wonderful ladies from the Mount Gambier Revival Fellowship, whose incredible afternoon tea drew everyone in, and to Damere for his delicious beef goulash. The food, fellowship, and fun made for a truly memorable evening.

💛 We'd love to see you this Sunday at 1:30pm. There's still plenty of leftover sweets to enjoy, friendly faces to meet, and uplifting fellowship to be had.

Gedday Just because we say we believe or we agree with what God says if we dont do it there will be no benefit for us. If we say we dont believe or agree with and yet decide to put God to the test we will know whether it is true or a lie. Many are given a chance but few take up the challenge Matt21v28-32

Gedday The Edomites (descendants from Esau, Jacobs brother) were proud and had lifted themselves up. They thought they were safe in their caital Petra. But because they had acted treacherously against the inhabitants of Jerusalem, laughed at their sorrow and helped the Babylonians against them, they now were going to be punished by God Obad v1-9

Obadiah 1:1-9 (KJV) The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle.
Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen: thou art greatly despised.
The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?
Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD.
If thieves came to thee, if robbers by night, (how art thou cut off!) would they not have stolen till they had enough? if the grapegatherers came to thee, would they not leave some grapes?
How are the things of Esau searched out! how are his hidden things sought up!

Gedday Many people without realizing it are hindering the truth and so are going to be subject to Gods wrath. Everything we see in Gods creation point to it as having to have a creator. Man needs more faith to justify evolution than to accept that there is a creator. Lets help them see the truth and possibly save their souls by speaking of what God has done for us Rom1v18-20

Romans 1:18-20 (KJV) For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
