Climate action is so slow. Many suffer a climate malaise, frustrated and for self-preservation, disengaged. The effects of climate change are becoming more dire. So, how as Christians do we respond?

Join us Sunday 10am in church or via livestream as we commence our Season of Creation and welcome meteorologist and theologian, Dr Mick Pope, as our guest preacher. It’s a communion Sunday, so if you are joining us online, remember to have your communion elements ready.

A new Wednesday Weeding group started at the Village Church yesterday, with a small but productive group. With the sun shining, it was a great way to start the Season of Creation.

Wednesday Weeders will take place every second Wednesday at the church, from 9:30-10:30am followed by morning tea. Everyone is welcome - whether it be a one-off, occasional or regular fortnight, whatever your preference, all you need to do is bring yourself and your gardening tools of choice.

So come and enjoy companionship while weeding or the mindfulness that comes with working in soil and being in nature.

The next Wednesday Weeders is scheduled for Wednesday 16 September at 9:30am - we'd love to see you there!
