Colossians 3:17
“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

Our lives produce fruit that indicates our choice. Either our lives will reflect kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, and forgiveness or greed, anger, lies will characterise our lives. God has given us free will. The choice is ours to make. When we live for the Lord, peace will rule our hearts. We will be filled with thankfulness.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, help me to live a life pleasing to you, a life lived for you will be a life with no regrets...amen.

Jeremiah 31:33-34
“...I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people...for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.”

The old covenant focused on laws and rules. Jesus came not to abolish the laws, but to fulfill them. God has written his law in our minds and our hearts. We can worship him in spirit and truth. Through Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross, God has forgiven our sins and remembers them no more.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, thank you for your forgiveness and grace in my life...amen.

John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Although God’s love for us never changes, we may not feel his love. We may mistaken it that prosperous good times indicate God loves us, while difficulties and sickness is that God is displeased with us. God promises us “ never will I leave you, never will I forsake you”(Hebrews 13:5). God’s love is unchanging. Nothing can separate us from His love.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, help me to remember that when I go through a rough time, it does not mean that you have forgotten me. May I experience your love and peace...amen.

Making a commitment to Christian living is easy but following it through is the challenge. How? - We are to read and mediate on Gods word. We are to call on for Gods help everyday as we need His power through the Holy Spirit living in us.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, I desire to be committed to you but it gets difficult sometimes, help me to read the Bible and rely upon you for your power and support throughout this year...amen.

God is always right on time. His timing is perfect. Waiting on the Lord requires patience. God is in control, no matter how harsh the storm or how deep the grief or trouble. Trust in Him. God is faithful. He will equip you and sustain you during the storm.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, may I chose to trust you. Give me patience. Help me remember that you are indeed in control...amen.

“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Our lives speaks a lot. God desires that through our lives we become witnesses for Christ to others around us. Begin asking God to prepare you to be used by Him. Spend time with Him in prayer and He will bring opportunities to you that you can pray for. Be patient and love others. Learn to truly listen to others as they share their hurts. Your life will then stand out and others will not only see Jesus in you but will want to know Him also.
Prayer:
Dear Lord, help me to be a shining light among others for You so that they may know You...amen.
