An Easter message from the Anglican Diocese of Gippsland.

Easter comes around each year, and with it, a simple but powerful reminder — that even in the hardest moments, hope is not lost.

The story of Easter doesn’t pretend life is easy. It begins in fear, grief, and uncertainty. But it doesn’t end there. In the resurrection of Jesus, we see that God is always at work, bringing new life out of what feels broken, and light into places that seem dark.

However this Easter finds you, may you know peace, and may you find hope in unexpected places.

Christ is risen. He is risen indeed. Amen.

In our March TGA we shared an update from our friends at the Warragul Mosque, as they opened their doors for their second annual Open Day.

More than 150 people walked through the doors that day— sharing food, asking questions, and building understanding across faiths. This encouraging story shows how openness and hospitality can break down barriers.

Have you heard about the Gippsland Camino?

➡️ April 17-19 along the Great Souther Rail Trail.
Commencing from Nyora and concluding in Meeniyan, 52 kilometres will be covered.

Inspired by the tradition of pilgrimage, the Gippsland Camino invites people to walk sections of local rail trails, combining a physical journey with prayer, reflection, and connection.
Whether you join for a short walk or a longer stretch, it’s an opportunity to slow down, share stories, and encounter God in the beauty of Gippsland.

For more information, a copy of the booklet, or to volunteer your help, please contact Sharron Lane on 0423 575 949.
