Brian Harvey will speak on the topic of 'Men of Noble Character', taken from Ruth 3.
Darren Middleton will speak on the topic of 'Men of Heart', based on John 1:35-42 & Prov. 4:23.

Last Saturday was a wonderful day with Aaron's ordination and induction service at Morwell Presbyterian Church. Thank you to many family and friends who came, and special thank you as a church for being generous hosts with a delicious spread for afternoon.

Yesterday's sunrise was a reminder of our passage on Sunday from Ecclesiastes 11:7 "Light is sweet, and it pleases the eyes to see the sun."

How thankful to God we can be for His gift of life given to us as we remember that God is our Creator and our Maker!

This Sunday we come to the end of our series in Ecclesiastes as we look at 'the end of the matter', "Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man."

Last Saturday morning 22 blokes gathered for a brekkie together with the buffet of bacon, eggs, sausages, and more providing options for everyone (pictures don't do justice).

Breakfast and conversations flowed over the beautiful blue tablecloths, before Aaron shared from the Bible from Luke 15:11-32 showing the grace of God in saving those who trust in Him. After sharing his testimony of showing how God has worked in his life, the encouragement was to not belittle your testimony, because it demonstrates the way God has worked in your life!

The blokes had been encouraged to bring a tool from their garage and talk about it. Whether it was their first hammer, a screwdriver that saved 3 people's lives, a multi-tool, a ladder holder, an industrial jack, a classic planer, or a one sided axe used on railway sleepers or more!

Thanks to those who cooked, prepared and helped clean up. A great morning with the bacon smell clearing before Sunday!

Yesterday our series in Ecclesiastes continued as we looked at Who knows?
What do we really know in this life, we definitely cannot say that we know everything!
God knows everything though, as our Creator he made us upright, but we come up with all sorts of ideas and schemes, even thinking that we are good people. However, the Bible again and again shows us that we are not good, except when we receive forgiveness of our sins from Jesus and live for Him!
