These minds of ours are like bank accounts awaiting deposits. If we regularly and purposefully make healthy deposits of the Word of God and healthy positive thoughts. Then the return will be life changing. So, is the opposite if we regularly hear the voices of the world and think on negative thoughts then we will get a return of what we have been depositing. What your sowing into your spirit and mind you will get a return..so sow wisely!

Training for your spirit: Part 1.

Get your Bible out. Prayer of worship and yield to hearing the Word of God (Holy Bible). Make at least a 15 minute routine in the morning everyday to start your day.

Training your spirit:

1. Put your trust in Word of God.

Proverbs 4:20-22 (ESV) 20 My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. 21 Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.

2. Meditate: think on it, pray it.

Joshua 1:8 (ESV) This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

3. Act on the Word:

James 1:22 (KJV) But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

4. The Inward man: do not live or follow after the senses but train and maintain your spirit.

Proverbs 20:27 (ESV) The spirit of man is the lamp of the LORD, searching all his innermost parts.

I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service —Romans 12:1.
The first verse of Romans 12, is of outmost importance as you read this verse the very depths of it is when you have reached a place of absolute surrender. And now you have given your whole life, to God.

The next verse that follows:

Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

First our Whole Lives
Second our Transformation

They work together not one without the other.
