đź‘‘ WORDS OF WISDOM FROM DIANA đź‘‘
From a flower, there is so much more to be appreciated than just its beauty.
A flower starts as a seed and survives the dark by pushing up towards the light. A tiny seed rising above darkness many times over its own weight. This is the flower’s first stage, but one in which many humans never complete.
A stem then grows, sprouting leaves, often fighting for space, but refusing to hide in the crowd. It has critters which take from it, disrupting its beauty, but still, of itself it gives.
A bloom appears, often emerging in less than perfect conditions. Shy, it is not. Grow, it will.
Once in full form, the flower apricates in the sunshine, using it to reach its full potential. Underneath at its core, it consumes all the water and nutrients it needs to survive, refusing to let the poison tarnish it.
You see, a flower doesn’t need its hand held, it doesn’t need compliments along the way to decide to grow, and negativity it refuses to take on.
A flower isn’t just a thing of beauty, it’s the very definition of why nature sits at the top of the pecking order on earth. A flower is the definition of on purpose, independence and loving.
When you look at a flower either in nature or cut for your enjoyment, compare yourself to it and ask yourself - where in the cycle of life am I? It’s only once you can do all that the flower does in its short and humble life, that you can consider yourself equal.
Now look at a bouquet, a collection of these marvellous things, and imagine that that’s what a group of humans should look, feel like and offer to the world.
