Morley Salvos Morley Salvos is a community-focused church seeking to transform lives with the love of Jesus.

The Morley Salvation Army (WA, Australia) centre was opened in 1974 and right from the outset aimed to bring hope into people's lives. In 1999 the new community centre was built to better facilitate the community support services provided, which now includes youth and children's programs, welfare support, gatherings for seniors and an incredible Thrift Shop, among other things. Join with Captains Pete and Jo Brookshaw and an amazing faith community that seeks to transform Australia one life at a time with the love of Jesus. CELEBRATING FAITHFULNESS AT MORLEY CORPS!

Today, we give thanks to God for the incredible people who faithfully serve our Morley Corps community!

Celebrating Davis — for 12 years of faithful service in youth ministry! Your dedication, heart for young people, and commitment to serving others have been such a blessing to our community. Thank you for the difference you continue to make!

Honouring Craig — for using your gifts and talents to build a food box that helps provide food for those in need. Thank you for putting faith into action and helping us care for our community in such a practical and meaningful way.

We are so blessed by the faithfulness, generosity, and servant hearts within our Morley Corps family. These acts of service remind us that when we use our gifts to bless others, we reflect the love of Jesus.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others.” — 1 Peter 4:10

NEVER TOO YOUNG TO LEAD WITH FAITH AND COURAGE!

God can use your voice, your gifts, and your story to make a difference in this world.

On 11 October, International Day of the Girl, the Morley Salvos celebrate girls everywhere and the incredible potential God has placed within each of them.

We believe that no girl is too young to make a difference, and no background or circumstance can limit what God can do through her!

Our heart is to nurture a generation of strong, compassionate, and courageous girls who lead with faith, show empathy, stand up for others, and become world-shakers and changemakers for God’s Kingdom.

Today, we celebrate some of our amazing girls who remind us that leadership starts young, purpose has no age limit, and every voice matters!

Girls, never underestimate what God can do through you. Keep shining your light, using your gifts, and walking boldly in the purpose He has for your life.

Join us in praying for our youth and youth leaders as they head off to Youth Camp!

They’ll be joining the wider Salvo crew for the weekend — a special time to worship, pray, grow in faith, and discover more of God’s plan for their lives.

We’re so thankful for the leaders who have generously given their time, energy and hearts to disciple and encourage these young lives.

Leaders, we see you, we appreciate you, and we’re cheering you on!

Please join us in praying that this weekend would be filled with God’s presence, meaningful connections, new faith, and moments that leave a lasting impact.

What a privilege it is to journey alongside the schools in our area!

Today we had the joy of joining Swan Christian College for their final day of Term 3 and what a way to start the day!

Chapel, Salvo-style!
There were plenty of smiles and laughter as we shared interactive games and experienced the joy of the Lord together.

Then Davis shared a beautiful reminder from John 14:2:
“My Father’s house has many rooms…”
Jesus is preparing a place for us in His Father’s house — and He invites us not only to come ourselves, but to bring others with us.

What a powerful message to finish the term on!

Grateful for the opportunity to share faith, joy and community with these young people.

🔥 Desperation - When Hunger Meets Hope 🔥

What a powerful word from Major Di today as we looked at Mark 5:21–43 and were reminded of what happens when our desperation for Jesus meets the hope we have in Him.

Jairus was desperate to save his daughter.

The bleeding woman was desperate for healing.

Both came to Jesus with nothing left but faith, hunger, and hope.

And Jesus did more than they could have possibly imagined.

When everyone thought Jairus’ daughter was dead, Jesus said otherwise.
When the bleeding woman had lived in fear and tried to hide from Jesus,
He called her out—and called her “daughter.”

What a powerful reminder:
Nothing is dead until Jesus says it’s dead.
Jesus is not embarrassed by your desperation.
He sees you. He knows you. He calls you His own.

Whatever you’re believing for today, don’t stop reaching for Jesus.

Your hunger may be met with His hope.
Your desperation may become a doorway to a miracle.

And what looks finished to everyone else may only be the beginning when Jesus steps in.

Keep believing. Keep reaching. Keep hoping. Jesus is still restoring what was lost.

This is the face of a very happy Major Di to be back!

Woo hoo! Worship has already started!
Major Andrew has jumped straight onto bass guitar, and now we’re just counting down to 10am when everyone else arrives!

Bring on the worship, the fellowship, the laughter and a whole lot of praising God together.

It’s going to be a GREAT day!
