Commencing today, 31st March, our beautiful Borne Again Boutique are having a $1 sale to clear our summer stock. There's already a buzz in the shop, so don't delay and come and grab a bargain. The $1 sale will continue until Wednesday, 8th April. Please note that our Boutique will be closed on 9th and 10th April for restocking of our Autumn and Winter clothing. The Boutique will reopen on Saturday, 11th April. COME AND GRAB A BARGAIN!!!

************ EASTER SERVICES @ SOUTHLAKES ANGLICAN ********
We would be delighted to welcome you at our Easter services, which commence this Palm Sunday at 9 am. Palm Sunday is when we remember Jesus entrance to Jerusalem when the crowds waved palm branches, crying "Blessed is he in the name of the Lord". Then on Thursday, 2nd April at 5pm we'll share Maundy Thursday, Jesus' final meal with his friends. On Good Friday at 10 am we'll pause to consider the great magnitude of Christ's sacrifice on the cross. On Easter Sunday at 9 am we'll celebrate the earth-shattering miracle of Jesus rising back to life again, prompting us to shout, "He is risen. He is risen indeed". We'd love you to join us.

On Christmas Eve at seven sharp, a tale in rhyme we’ll share,
Twelve candles lit to show the Light that’s shining everywhere.

With flickering flames beside our songs, familiar carols bright,
We’ll lift our voices joyfully into the summer night.

At eleven, quiet reverence—on this most Holy Night,
We’ll pause for Holy Communion in the glow of gentle light.

Then Christmas dawns, and eight o’clock invites us all to see
A joyful service celebrating God’s Son, born to set us free.

If you're struggling at Christmas, Southlakes Anglican has a yearly Christmas Hamper blessing gift for local families.
Why not put your name down to order one, and receive a gift for each member of the household, in addition to delicious Christmas fair.
Drop into Southlakes Anglican Church, 33 Newcastle Street, Morisset between Monday to Friday, 9am - 12.30pm to order your hamper.
Orders must be received by Monday, 15th December and unfortunately, we can't receive orders over the phone orders! Hampers are for residents of the Southlakes region only.

🌸 You’re Invited: Remembrance Service for Victims of Domestic Violence 🌸

Thursday 27 November • 9.15am for a 9.30am start
Southlakes Anglican Church, Morisset

Domestic violence is not just a statistic—it's a heartbreak felt across our neighbourhoods. In the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie region, domestic-violence-related assaults have risen by more than 13% in the last two years. That’s mothers, daughters, sisters, neighbours… people we know and love.

But together, we can be part of the solution. 💜

Join us for a gentle and meaningful Remembrance Service where we’ll honour those whose lives have been impacted by domestic violence and stand together in hope for change.

✨ Guest Speaker: Rev. Melanie Whalley, Rector of Toronto Anglican Church
✨ Special Presentation: Wendy Cramp, sharing her vision for Jhouse, a new local women’s refuge
✨ After the Service: We’ll gather at the Red Bench to place crosses in remembrance—a powerful symbol of solidarity and love

This is a community moment. A chance to show up, stand together, and say: “Not in our neighbourhood. Not on our watch.”
