Messy Church is now held within our Sunday Church Service on the Fifth Sunday. Our Next Messy will be on:
Sunday 31st May starting in the Church Service at 9.15am.

Our Theme is Thanksgiving - thoughtfulness, gratitude, grace, with activities including “Church is the People”, “Everybody Challenge” and a parachute game.

We start in the Service, then move into our activities in our normal space. When we come back into the Service, we will display our work.

There is a “family corner” with things to do and where parents and children can sit together when we move back into the Church.

There will be an Egg and Bacon BBQ for all after the Service.

We look forward to seeing you there!

From MU Australia
6. ‘Jesus said to her, “Mary”’ (John 20:16)
When Mary Magdalene saw that the tomb was empty, her first reaction was to say that the authorities had removed his body. She was not thinking of a resurrection. On meeting Jesus in the garden, she was so distraught and so convinced that enemies had removed the body, that she mistook him for the gardener. It was not until Jesus said her name that she recognised him and fell at his feet. Once more we see the reality of the resurrection. Once more we see the love of Jesus for us as individuals, for just the single word of her name was enough to open her eyes to the truth. And this woman is the first to meet the resurrected Saviour.
Response:
Gracious God, thank you for your love of the whole world. Thank you for your love of individual persons. Thank you that in your love you reveal yourself to us and open our eyes that we may see the glorious face of our Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

A reminder that Sunday 29th March is our 1st Messy for the year, starting in the Church at 9.15am.

Being Palm Sunday, there will be a different start to our normal Service

Our activities will focus on Easter, and our Theme will be “Courage to follow Jesus”.

We start in the Service, then move into our activities in our normal space. When we come back into the Service, we will display our work.

There is a “family corner” with things to do and where parents and children can sit together when we move back into the Church.

The following Sunday, 5th April, is Easter Day. Fr Ron, on long service leave before his retirement, will be back with us for this, his last day at our Church.

We would love to share Easter Day, and Father Ron’s last day with you.
