Uniting Church Ascot Vale Sunday service. Progressive. 10.30am Sundays Ascot Vale Uniting Church has family services on Sundays from 10.30am throughout the year.

This Church is one of a kind, a progressive and encouraging church family; it strives to be the bandage not the wound on humanity, by embodying a humanitarian Christianity. We place at the centre of our lives the person of the historical Jesus, his Spirit and teaching; we listen and learn; we advocate and love. The church buildings and grounds are also available for rent, and have been used for weddings, educational programs including preschool and music programs, exhibitions, meetings and more. For more information about our services or to hire Ascot Vale Uniting Church as a venue, please go to our website and follow the links.

Waste Not Hub is such a great community initiative. Good work MVS!

jobriskey came down to MVS today to see for herself some of the work we are doing with our Waste Not Hub.

We were able to show her how the federal funds we received paid for the installation of electric hot water and will support us to continue the transition to phase out gas in our renewing Dwell project. A space we want to be known as a hub that is a cool safe space for community

Jo had a chance to speak with our active transport crew to hear about how federal funds can support local councils.

We love showing off our work and warmly welcome any other interested community leaders who would like to come down and have a look at what we’re up to. We meet on the second Saturday of the month.

Sounds like a great evening!

Sounds like a great evening!

On Tuesday, July 21, Brunswick Uniting Church is hosting a live reading of the whole Gospel of Mark. Settle in with a cup of mulled w**e, make space for reflection, and let gentle silence hold the room between chapters.

All are welcome, whether you’re spiritual-not-religious, part of a faith community, or simply curious to experience this ancient story in a new way.
