Waste Not Hub is such a great community initiative. Good work MVS!

jobriskey came down to MVS today to see for herself some of the work we are doing with our Waste Not Hub.

We were able to show her how the federal funds we received paid for the installation of electric hot water and will support us to continue the transition to phase out gas in our renewing Dwell project. A space we want to be known as a hub that is a cool safe space for community

Jo had a chance to speak with our active transport crew to hear about how federal funds can support local councils.

We love showing off our work and warmly welcome any other interested community leaders who would like to come down and have a look at what we’re up to. We meet on the second Saturday of the month.

Sounds like a great evening!

On Tuesday, July 21, Brunswick Uniting Church is hosting a live reading of the whole Gospel of Mark. Settle in with a cup of mulled wine, make space for reflection, and let gentle silence hold the room between chapters.

All are welcome, whether you’re spiritual-not-religious, part of a faith community, or simply curious to experience this ancient story in a new way.
