AFES Brisbane

Next week almost 300 uni students from across Queensland are heading to Mt Tamborine for the Queensland chapter of the AFES National Training Event 2021.

Getting students transformed by the gospel, trained in the gospel, and sent with the gospel often requires not just prayer and great Bible teaching but also plenty of caffeine!

So we’ve recruited volunteers to run a coffee cart during NTE with all profits supporting a university missionary in the Myanmar Fellowship of Evangelical Students (who has just finished some training in Australia).

Here’s where you can help. We are looking for some AFES graduates and supporters to donate $100 each to cover the cost of coffee supplies so that 100% of sales during the week can go to mission. (And if we cover all our costs, anything extra will go to the work in Myanmar.)

To help us buy coffees at NTE to support world mission you can give through this link:
https://support.afes.org.au/support-nte21-qld-5805
Then email [email protected] to let him know to direct your gift to the Myanmar coffee cart. Thanks!

Hey everyone,

Grade 12s will be finishing the year soon and to help promote AFES and help school leavers connect with AFES groups across different unis we're encouraging people to do school and youth group visits!

We'd love if you could consider visiting your old high schools (or even one you happen to be well connected with) and/or visit youth groups to inform them about UniConnect.

If you need information on how to do that well, please contact Willus and he'll be able to help you out.
