This Friday night in Brunswick, join us for our Friday night lecture- Karma: Why do Things Turn Out the Way They do?

What is luck and how do I improve mine? Why are some people naturally happy and successful, while others experience problems and obstacles? Why is contentment elusive, while difficulties arise effortlessly and how can I change this situation? Is there an ingredient that’s been missing in our recipe for happiness?

On this friday night lecture we will explore the law of karma and how the principle of cause and effect governs every area of our life. Bring an open mind and a curious intellect to challenge assumptions about why things turn out the way they do, and perhaps discover an entirely more effective way of creating the life we want to enjoy.

Still time to book in for our course tomorrow at Brunswick- Who Am I Really? Exploring Identity & True Belonging | Meditation Half-Day Workshop

21/05/2026

Join us for our current weekly class, link in bio for a class near you. Anxiety, stress, and overwhelm have become increasingly common in our fast-paced lives. When we feel this way, it’s easy to believe the cause lies in difficult situations or other people, leading us to spend our energy trying to control what’s happening around us only to find our minds becoming even more unsettled.

Buddha taught that the real source of anxiety lies within the mind itself, arising from distorted ways of seeing ourselves, others, and the world. By learning to recognise and transform these patterns, we can begin to free ourselves from anxiety and move forward with clarity and confidence.

Through practical tools and guided meditations, this course will help you calm the mind, build inner strength, and respond to life’s challenges with greater wisdom and purpose.

On June 4th, Turning the Wheel of Dharma Day, we celebrate the deeds and great kindness of our root Guru & founder of the New Kadampa Tradition, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

As faithful modern Kadampa disciples we remember the great kindness of Venerable Geshe-la every day, but on this auspicious day, with minds of rejoicing and gratitude, we will offer him our faith through using the special prayer ‘Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso from his Faithful Disciples’ and collecting our Guru’s name mantra in a one-day retreat.

There will be three sessions using the sadhana ‘The Hundreds of Deities of the Joyful Land According to Highest Yoga Tantra’ and the special request prayer. In the evening, the retreat will conclude with ‘Offering to the Spiritual Guide’ dedicated to the flourishing of everything that Venerable Geshe-la established in our world.

This event is free of charge. There is a charge for lunch and dinner on Thursday at KMCA.

Because our mind shapes every experience we have, improving our life begins with improving our mind. To do this, we first need to discover what the mind actually is and how it functions.

Join us for this retreat with visiting teacher Gen Kelsang Lhachog featuring guided meditations and teachings based on the book How to Understand the Mind by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. Through practical and experiential exploration, we will learn to recognize, understand, and gradually refine our inner world. As our insight deepens, we will discover tools to transform daily experience and open the door to a more peaceful, joyful, and spiritually meaningful way of being.
Join us for this special retreat in the Dandenong Ranges.
