CHRISTUS RESURREXIT
On Easter Vigil, Kim, Adam and Jarred became Catholics. They were baptised, confirmed, and received the Eucharist for the first time. It was beautiful that they professed their faith in God - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and became part of the family of the Universal Church during the Easter Vigil Mass in our Parish of Moe-Newborough as we celebrated the Resurrection of Christ, and His promise of eternal life to all who believe in Him.
Congratulations to our new Catholics! May you continue to grow in faith, and the faith you profess bear fruit in your acts of charity.
Thanks to all our parishioners for your prayers and support. Continue to encourage and pray for them when meeting them on Sundays and at other liturgical/pastoral occasions.
Together with Kim, Adam, and Jarred, we, too, are grateful to Bishop Greg, Joan Robertson, the Diocesan RCIA coordinator, and other Ministers for their constant help and prayer.
Our special appreciation and thanks to the RCIA coordinators of our parish: Rosanna, Andrew, Jack, Cliff and Willamena for their witnessing ministry.
PEACE BE WITH YOU

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FR.VIN
"The grey-haired head is a crown of glory, if it be found in the way of righteousness." — Proverbs 16:31.
Last Sunday, 21 December 2025, our Moe-Newborough parish community had the distinct honour of celebrating the 95th birthday of Fr. Vin McGuillcuddy OMI. It was a beautiful day filled with gratitude for his decades of service, his unwavering faith, commitment and the gentle wisdom he shares with us all. It is indeed a gift to celebrate Fr. Vin’s 95th birthday, but the true gift is the impact he has made on so many lives through the years as a wonderful Priest and a great Oblate.
Fr. Vin, your life is a testament to God’s grace, and we feel so blessed to have you in our lives. Thank you for your lifetime of "Yes" to God’s call.
We thank everyone who joined us in making this celebration special. The lovely cake/s, patties and sweets we enjoyed. We pray in thanksgiving for Fr. Vin’s life and continued ministry among us.
May God continue to bless him with health, peace, and joy. Happy Birthday, Fr. Vin.
