Pet Blessing

On Sunday 4th October at 5pm St Michael’s will celebrate the Blessing of Pets. This will be a wonderful occasion to give thanks for the love and joy that they bring to each of us, our family and the community.

It is hoped that you and your pet will join us and invite anyone you know that has a pet or loves Animals to celebrate with us.

Everyone and their pets are welcome.

Poetry and Prayer will be the feature of our Sacred Space Sunday program on 20th September at 5:00pm. So often the entanglement of our words in poetry reflects the prayers we hold in our heart. This session will explore where the beauty and mystery of Poetry meet and touches our lives. Let us hear the echoes of thanksgiving as we offer our poetic voice, hear from others and grow in our understanding.

This session will be facilitated by poet and author Ann Nadge.

Patronal Festival

You are invited to join us for our Patronal festival (That is the celebration of our patron saint – St Michael whom the Church is named after) This will be a wonderful occasion in which we gather as the people of God to give thanks and praise for the many gifts we have received. We shall be joined by Bishop Sophie Relf-Christopher, Assistant Bishop, who will preside and preach.

Please mark this date in your diary and make every effort to be with us for this occasion, then join in our Brunch following the service partaking in the fun, laughter and fellowship.
