We had a fun and fruitful chat about a raft of matters, including personal agency and bad behaviour of public figures (including football players). Church must always be at the intersection of faith and society. Out Wednesday midweek Mass gives us a little more time to have ‘chat-church’ and interaction. 10am Wednesdays

It is a sad indictment on a society that frenzy-feeds on falsehood and fallacy. Having endured media attacks for far longer after fact-checking cleared him, Dr Arday chose to leave life rather than live it. While the world consumes "artificial intelligence" and sprouts it as research, we need to take a step into a space where intelligence comes from creativity, consciousness, and care.

The death of the sociologist and former Cambridge professor Dr Jason Arday was “not about clickbait or trying to score political points in a culture war”, the director of Theos, Chine McDonald, said on Sunday, after Dr Arday had been found unresponsive at his home on Friday.

From the Last Supper through today, the Holy Eucharist has joined Christ and Christians of all generations, living and dead, in mystic communion with one another.
