Announcement of Passing

On behalf of the Mill Park Baptist Church family, we extend our heartfelt sympathy to the family, church community, and loved ones of Rev. Paul Kelada of the Arabic Baptist Church, who was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday 5 September.

We share in the sorrow of all who mourn, yet we hold firmly to the hope we have in Christ. We thank God for his life, his faithful service, and the lasting testimony he leaves behind.

“Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.”
“Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labours, for their deeds follow them.”
Revelation 14:13

May the Lord surround his family and congregation with His peace, comfort, and sustaining grace in this difficult time.

بقلوب حزينة ورجاء حي في المسيح

بإسم قسوس وأعضاء وجميع شعب كنيسة ميل بارك المعمدانية، نتقدم بخالص التعزية والمواساة إلى أسرة راعينا و أخينا المحبوب القس بولس قلادة، وإلى كنيسته وجميع أحبائه، في انتقاله اليوم إلى الفردوس ليكون مع المسيح..

نحن نحزن مع الذين يحزنون، لكننا لا نحزن كالباقين الذين لا رجاء لهم، لأن لنا رجاءً حيًا في المسيح يسوع ونشكر الله من أجل حياة القس بولس ومن أجل خدمته الأمينة للرب، ومن أجل الشهادة الصالحة التي تركها وراءه.

«طُوبَى لِلأَمْوَاتِ الَّذِينَ يَمُوتُونَ فِي الرَّبِّ مُنْذُ الآنَ. نَعَمْ، يَقُولُ الرُّوحُ، لِكَيْ يَسْتَرِيحُوا مِنْ أَتْعَابِهِمْ، وَأَعْمَالُهُمْ تَتْبَعُهُمْ.»- رؤيا ١٤: ١٣

نصلي أن يحيط الرب أسرته وكنيسته وكل أحبائه بتعزيته وسلامه، وأن يسندهم بنعمته وقوته، ويملأ قلوبهم بالرجاء وسط هذا الوقت المؤلم.

«لِأَنَّنَا إِنْ كُنَّا نُؤْمِنُ أَنَّ يَسُوعَ مَاتَ وَقَامَ، فَهكَذَا الرَّاقِدُونَ بِيَسُوعَ سَيُحْضِرُهُمُ اللهُ أَيْضًا مَعَهُ.»
١ تسالونيكي ٤: ١٤

Last Sunday we celebrated Shane’s retirement after many faithful years serving as our voluntary cleaner. Thank you, Shane, for your dedication, your steady commitment, and the inspiration you bring to everyone who knows you. We pray God’s blessing over this new chapter in your life!!
