Ordinary Sunday 30A: “We can think about the mission of God, God’s love for the world, in a musical way. The mission of God is movement, and moves us—from here to there, from isolation to community, from fear to freedom.
 
“Whether we think about ancient songlines, folk songs, blues, birdsong or the sound of wind in the trees—the psalms or songs of the heart—we can relate. God’s love for the world resonates.”

Ordinary Sunday 30A: “Jesus says that the greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, soul and mind. And the second is like it: to love our neighbour as ourselves. A way of life—a way of listening and responding, a way of being in the world.
 
“We don’t need to invent the song of God’s mission. We are invited to hear it, to recognise its rhythms, to participate in what is already happening.”
