St Mark's Lutheran Church - Melton

St Mark's Lutheran Church - Melton St Mark's is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church of Australia whose worship focuses on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the gifts of His sacraments.

Melton is situated on the Western Highway about 40 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD. As such, it is the gateway to the city, and highly accessible to the western districts. Our congregation’s mission statement is: -
"St Mark's is a congregation of Christians whose worship focuses on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the gifts of His sacraments. Our community includes people of different ages and dif

ferent backgrounds. We welcome all who seek a caring Christian fellowship and a responsible Christian lifestyle. St Mark's serves Melton, Bacchus Marsh and nearby communities." Our worship is a blend of traditional and contemporary liturgical worship. Services are usually held at 10am on Sunday except for the 4th Sunday of the month which is our 'Visiting Sunday'. What is a Visiting Sunday? It is a day where we encourage the congregation to share in worship with nearby Lutheran or other churches, joining in fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
