Another great breakfast event with over 80 ladies attending. Our thanks to Colonel Lani Chamness, our guest speaker. Lani shared some of her life journey, taking us across different countries and cultures, through different communities and circumstances, and into many places of leadership and service. We pray that the experiences she shared will stay with us, encouraging us to be open to the Lord’s leading in our own lives.
Our craft stalls were very popular and lots of purchases made.
A big thank you to all who assisted in some way to make this another enjoyable event.

Everything is ready for our ladies breakfast tomorrow, with a spring/Hawaiian theme. Our guest speaker is Colonel Lani Chamness. The craft group have been very busy and as you can see from the photos there is a huge range of beautiful craft items available. Craft stalls open at 8.00 am and anyone is welcome to come and buy. Proceeds of craft funds the many projects that the group undertakes. A great day ahead.

At Fill my Cup cafè today our ladies fellowship theme was about honey! Proverbs 16:24….Kind words are like honey, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones”. We learned some interesting and fascinating facts about bees and honey, carried out some taste tests and tests that prove whether honey is 100% pure or not.
We looked at some stories about honey in the Bible and the healing powers of honey today, finishing off with favourite well loved Honey Joys, and a honey cake.

This morning we welcomed Alfonso as our new ministry assistant, and Siriwan, his wife, who will support him in his new role. We are blessed to have them.
Steve Macwen, from Sunday School read the scripture beautifully. This was the first time he has participated in this way. Well done Stevie. His salvationist relations in India will be so proud of him, as are his parents here and our church family.

Our men's breakfast was a most enjoyable morning with Ian Shanks, our local pharmacist and Salvationist, as guest speaker.
Ian is passionate about health care, but as well as helping his own community, he is transforming a community on the other side of the world through his Fullife Foundation. The Fullife Foundation is an Australian non-profit organization based in Melbourne that works to improve the health and well-being of women and children in Ethiopia. It operates by connecting donor networks and partners—such as local community initiatives and pharmacies—with grassroots health and immunisation projects on the ground.
Donations can be made to the Foundation through any Fullife Pharmacy.

Our theme for our ladies fellowship today was about Roses. We explored much to do about the history, meanings, colour and cultivation and use of roses. For Afternoon tea we had rose flavoured biscuits and some rose jelly and cream. We also made fragrant rose scented pot pourri sachets to remind us of the beautiful fragrance of a rose.
