# 11/6/2026 骨質疏鬆與跌倒預防

骨質疏鬆與跌倒在長者健康管理中，並非兩個獨立事件，而是具備高度因果關係的「高風險組合」。
Osteoporosis and falls are not isolated events in elderly health management; instead, they form a highly causal, "high-risk combination."

長者防跌的核心目的，很大程度是為了避免因骨質疏鬆導致的脆性骨折（Fragility Fracture）。
The core objective of fall prevention in the elderly is, to a large extent, to prevent **fragility fractures** caused by osteoporosis.

骨質疏鬆（低骨密度）：使骨骼變得像乾枯的樹枝，承受力大幅下降。它本身通常沒有症狀，直到骨折發生。
Osteoporosis (Low Bone Density):This condition leaves bones as fragile as dry twigs, drastically reducing their weight-bearing capacity. It is typically a "silent" condition with no symptoms until a fracture occurs.

跌倒（外力觸發）：是導致骨折的最直接外力。對一般人而言的普通碰撞，在骨質疏鬆的長者身上就會引發骨折。
Falls (The External Trigger): A fall is the most direct external force leading to a fracture. An ordinary bump or impact that causes no harm to a younger person can trigger a severe fracture in an older adult with osteoporosis.

這兩者結合，會引發一個嚴重的惡性循環：**骨質疏鬆 + 跌倒 → 骨折 → 長期卧床 → 肌肉萎縮與骨質進一步流失 → 行動受阻 → 下次跌倒風險更高**
When combined, these two factors trigger a vicious cycle: Osteoporosis + Fall → Fracture → Prolonged Bed Rest → Muscle Atrophy & Accelerated Bone Loss → Restricted Mobility → Higher Risk of Future Falls.

[Special Notice: Funeral Service for Senior Church Member Sister Leong Yit-toe and Temporary Closure of the Senior Centre]

各位主內弟兄姊妹、長者中心會友及同工：
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Members, and Staff of the Senior Centre,

我們懷著沉痛與仰望主恩的心情通知大家，本會資深教友梁月桃姊妹已於昨晚安息主懷，在主懷中得享永遠的安樂。
With heavy hearts yet relying on the Lord's grace, we write to inform you that our senior church member, Sister Leong Yit-toe, passed away peacefully last night and is now resting eternally in the arms of the Lord.

梁月桃姊妹多年來熱心事奉，與中心許多會友及工作人員建立了深厚的靈胞情誼，共同見證了許多美好的服侍時光。為表示對梁月桃姊妹的哀思與敬意，並讓大家能出席其告別儀式，中心將作出以下特別安排：
Sister Leong served the Lord faithfully for many years, developing deep spiritual bonds with many of our centre members and staff, and witnessing many beautiful moments of service together. To express our grief and respect, and to allow everyone to attend her farewell ceremony, the Centre will implement the following special arrangements:

2. 長者中心服務及活動調整
中心暫停開放： 5月28日（星期四）當天上午，長者中心將暫停開放一次，以便全體同工、會友及長者前往出席安息禮拜。
2. Adjustments to Senior Centre Services and Activities
Temporary Closure: The Senior Centre will be closed on the morning of May 28 (Thursday) to allow all staff, church members, and elderly participants to attend the service.
工作坊延期： 原定於當天舉行的《桌遊與腦部健康》工作坊將暫停一次，並將擇日重新舉行。具體補課日期將另行通知。
Workshop Postponement: The "Board Games and Brain Health" workshop originally scheduled for that day will be postponed. The rescheduled date will be announced in due course.

請大家在禱告中彼此記念梁月桃姊妹的家人，求主親自安慰他們的傷痛。如有任何查詢，請與中心職員聯絡。

在科技一日千里的 AI 時代，我們的生活正悄然被「算法」改變 。我們享受著 GPS 導航與生成式 AI 的便利，卻也面臨著三種深層的疏離感：
In the rapidly evolving AI era, our lives are subtly being reshaped by "algorithms". While we enjoy the convenience of GPS and Generative AI, we also face three deep forms of alienation:

(1) 學習的疏離：習慣跳過思考，全盤接受 AI 生成的答案 。
Alienation in Learning: Accepting AI-generated answers without critical thinking or reflection.
(2) 人際的疏離：以虛擬連結取代真實血肉的生命連結 。
Alienation in Relationships: Replacing real, human connections with digital, virtual interactions.
(3) 信仰的疏離：在面對人生難題時，「求問算法」取代了「求告上帝」 。
Alienation in Faith: Substituting "seeking God" with "querying algorithms" when facing life’s challenges.

《傳道書》提醒我們，日光之下無新事，AI 只是基於過去數據的「次創造」，無法解決人生終極的虛空 。然而，上帝已將「永生」安置在我們心裡，這是任何算法都無法填滿的渴望 。
The Book of Ecclesiastes reminds us that there is nothing new under the sun. AI is merely a "secondary creation" based on past data and cannot fill the ultimate void in human existence. However, God has set "eternity" in our hearts—a longing that no algorithm can satisfy.

我們該如何應對？
-扎根應許：相信上帝的時間比預測更準確，祂的工作比內容更永存 。 Rooted in Promise: Trust that God’s timing is more accurate than AI predictions, and His work is more eternal than any generated content.
-信心前行：將 AI 視為「僕人」而非「主人」。效法庇哩亞信徒天天考查聖經，查驗 AI 的「是與不是」 。
Moving Forward with Faith: View AI as a "servant," not a "master." Follow the example of the Bereans by examining the Scriptures daily to discern what is true.

金句： 「善用AI，但仰望神」 。
Key Message: "Use AI wisely, but keep your eyes on God".

Event Highlights: Senior Welfare and Physical Health @ Senior Center (14/5/2026)

感謝我們今天的嘉賓講員李姑娘，給我們中心的長者詳細講解澳洲長者照顧的制度與福利，加上她健談、風趣與幽默，長者們都如沐春風，也知道福利政策如何照顧他們的需要，受到何等的照顧。
A heartfelt thank you to our guest speaker, Ms. Li, for providing our members with a comprehensive overview of the Australian aged care system and available welfare benefits. Her engaging, witty, and humorous delivery made the session truly refreshing. Our seniors now have a much clearer understanding of how welfare policies cater to their specific needs and the level of care they are entitled to.
我曾在社會福利署工作約三年多，探訪不少住在老人院的長者，除了政府資助的老人院外，私家的老人院狀況常出現衣不蔽體，由於長期臥床令到寸肌肉萎縮，身體甚至出現彎腰駝背，這是缺少運動及長期臥床的原因。
Reflecting on my three years working at the Social Welfare Department, I visited numerous residential care homes. Beyond government-subsidized facilities, I often witnessed distressing conditions in private nursing homes, where residents were sometimes inadequately clothed. Due to being bedbound for extended periods, many suffered from severe muscle atrophy and spinal deformities. These issues stem directly from a lack of physical activity and prolonged immobilization.

其實福利照顧的全面與身體健康是相關，特別講到腦退化的預防，運動與腦筋操練其實不可少。而下一次在同年5月28日 活動題目：桌遊與腦部健康，就切不可錯過。
Comprehensive welfare and physical health are deeply interconnected. When it comes to preventing dementia, regular exercise and cognitive stimulation are essential. Therefore, you certainly won't want to miss our next session on May 28, 2026, titled: "Board Games and Brain Health."
