The Spice People

The Spice People We are passionate about enriching life. It’s not just our motto, or belief, it’s infused into our products and how we do things. But, more on that later.

It’s not just our motto, or belief, it’s infused into the way we do things. Whether that is an enriched life for our families, our staff, our customers, or beyond, we do what we can to add that extra bit of spice to life. This is why we are called The Spice People. The key ingredients are right there in our name. ‘Spice’ and ‘People’. Our sole aim is to connect the two in an enriching culinary adv

enture that makes eating fun, interesting and wholesome. But, more than that, we seek to offer an experience that opens up the cultures of the world at your dinner table. And we’ve worked hard to make that easily achievable in your home. Sadly, some people around the world need a little more. That’s why we partner with KIVA, an International nonprofit whose mission is to alleviate poverty through small business loans. Our story began with a small girl who grew up in rural NSW, Australia. Her name is Liz, our founder, our dreamer, and passionate spice evangelist. At an early age Liz learnt the lessons of the land, and most importantly where food actually comes from - not the supermarket, but the land. She learnt how to do things from scratch, the organic way, from the farm to the table. Early on Liz learned that if you want something to be flavoursome and enriching you have to use your head, heart and hands, and be creative with what you have. There was no local store or gourmet deli. The passion for an enriched life was born. In her late teens, Liz moved to the city. There she studied Agricultural Science and began an adventure in business. Not long after, The Spice People was born - a company that combined her love of adventure, food, creativity and people. Years later, The Spice People has grown beyond one person, but our passion remains the same. Enriching life is still our motto, our belief, and vocation - all the way from the land to your table.
