speaks about the anointing believers receive from God. The verse says, "As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit – just as it has taught you, remain in him."

This passage emphasizes the Holy Spirit's role in the lives of believers. When you trust in Christ, the Holy Spirit, who is often referred to as the anointing, dwells in you. This means that you have direct access to God’s wisdom and understanding. While teachers and leaders in the Church can guide us, the essence of what you need to know about living in faith and truth comes from your relationship with the Holy Spirit.

It encourages you to stay connected to Christ (“remain in him”), affirming that your knowledge and understanding grow through this relationship. Trust in this divine guidance, and be assured that you are equipped to grasp His truths deeply.

Celebrate Father’s Day with us at Rhema Family Church!

Join Pastor John Brown for a special Father’s Day message that will encourage fathers, grandfathers, spiritual fathers and every member of the family.
