What a powerful Fatherโ€™s Day at KCM. ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ™
Today was more than simply honouring fathers !
It became a moment of testimony, reflection, restoration and giving glory back to God.

Elderly Father, Umaga shared a life filled with the love of God, testifying through the beautiful hymns of faith that have been carried through generations.
His heart was full of gratitude to God for allowing him to see another Fatherโ€™s Day ๐Ÿ™

Lex shared openly about the struggles he faced as a father, addiction, feeling lost, emotional battles and questioning his purpose.
There were moments when life felt helpless and unclear.
But God stepped in. ๐Ÿ™Œ
Through the support of genuine family, friends, his fiancรฉ and people who helped lead him back towards God, Lex began walking the difficult road of recovery and restoration. Today, he is thankful that God has also opened the way for him to reconnect with his son.
โ€œTrust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.โ€ ๐Ÿ“– Proverbs 3:5โ€“6

Dylan also shared vulnerably about his past, also affiliated with gangs, distractions, homelessness, missed opportunities and the pain of feeling that he had not been the father he wanted to be.
There was once a time when he disliked Fatherโ€™s Day because it reminded him of where he believed he had failed.
Yet God began surrounding him, also with the right people.
Through his Fiance, Family and friends who stood beside him, Dylan began to recognise that God was real and that God was drawing him closer.
Even a simple message in the boysโ€™ chat asking for Bible study became another reminder of how beautifully God works, the feeling of understanding who God Is becoming unreal!

Tama matua ia, Lepaialii reminded us that every testimony has the power to lift another brother.
After 39 years in the Christian faith, he testified of Godโ€™s grace, sovereignty and the importance of truly knowing the God we serve.
He reminded us that church is not simply about a house or a building, it is about our worship, our offering and a heart surrendered to God.

โ€œO le manatu o le tagata, e lฤ“ o le finagalo o le Atua.โ€

Our thoughts and ways are not always the will of God.
Lepaialii - shared how God opened his eyes to see what his wife and family were experiencing and brought conviction and change into his own life.
What once had control no longer needed to remain.

These fathers reminded us today that a testimony does not have to be perfect to be powerful.
Some testimonies speak of faith passed down through generations.
Some speak of addiction and recovery.
Some speak of brokenness and restoration.
Some speak of fathers learning how to become better fathers.
Some speak of finally recognising the grace of God that was there all along.
But every testimony pointed back to the same truth:

GOD IS STILL SAVING.
GOD IS STILL RESTORING.
GOD IS STILL TRANSFORMING LIVES. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Thank you to every father who stood courageously and shared from the heart. Your testimony may be the very testimony another father, husband, son or brother needed to hear.

Sunday recap ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Ps Joe reminded us the importance of why we accept Jesus Christ into our lives and the things that God has given us, will help us rise up.

Because it is in the name of Jesus, that we all saved through the suffering he has endured for you and I, to be in a place of peace not sin.
