There is a ministry opportunity at Yarrawonga Presbyterian Church in Victoria — a congregation with a gospel heritage and a heartfelt desire to reach its growing community for Christ. Yarrawonga is a beautiful growing town of around 8,600 people situated on the Murray River, approximately 265 km northeast of Melbourne.

We warmly encourage elders and ministry-minded people to consider this opportunity — including those who may not yet hold formal accreditation. Jesus loves using those who are faithful, available, and teachable. And there would be training, support and ministry development in the role. Regional gospel ministry could be your tree change with a heavenly twist!

The Women's Ministries Victoria's will be at St Andrew's Presbyterian in Clayton on Saturday 6th June. If you're in the Melbourne region, or the east of the state, this will be your closest On the Road and we'd love for you to join us.

Living alongside other people isn't always easy! This is why the New Testament is full of commands about how we should treat one another as believers. The most frequent of these commands is to love one another.

Nat Short is going to look at what it means for us to love one another, the way that Jesus loves us.

As well as the main talks, we will have 3 elective workshops:
Forgive One Another
Encourage One Another
Be Humble to One Another

A helpful summary of the proceedings of the Commission of the General Assembly held on Tuesday, 5th May 2026, prepared by Rev Philip Burns, is available below.

Philip writes, "After the final business item was completed at 5pm, it had been a long day, but one that again was marked by the encouragement of a strong shared sense of all the courts of the church working together to achieve gospel growth under God’s mighty hand.

‘To God be the glory great things He has done’… and, we might add, ‘great things’ are what we are praying that He will do!"

Rev Philip Burns, Assistant to the Clerks The Commission of the PCV General Assembly met on Tuesday May 5th, within Assembly Hall, 156 Collins Street, Melbourne, with the Moderator, Rev Rod Waterhouse presiding. The meeting…
