On this Eid, we stood shoulder to shoulder in prayer, embraced one another with joy, and celebrated the blessings of faith, family, and community.
Yet as we gathered, our community was also carrying the weight of loss.
On a day that brought smiles to thousands, four families were mourning loved ones who had returned to Allah.
This is the reality of our community: we celebrate together, we grieve together, and we carry one another through both.
May Allah accept the worship of those who gathered in prayer, shower His mercy upon those who have passed, grant their families patience and strength, and keep our community united upon faith, compassion, and service.
Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.
