City Bible Forum, Melbourne

City Bible Forum, Melbourne The City Bible Forum, Melbourne exists to ask the bigger questions with Melbourne's city workers. The gospel changes our whole life.

What we hear at church on Sundays spills over into our everyday practice. For many, that includes our life at work! City Bible Forum brings workers together —across industries and career stages; in cities, towns and suburbs— to pray about and practice being salt and light on the frontlines. Together we can reach the world through workers with the good news about Jesus. Find out more at citybiblefo

It’s already more than 3 months into 2022! 😱

How are you tracking with your 2022 resolutions? Have you included any resolution about faith in the workplace? If not, this following short article gives 3 tips on how to do that.

Andrew Laird says, “Why not take some time now to reflect on how and where your work priorities might have shifted in the last year to a focus on self, rather than on others? Then commit those areas to God, asking Him to enable you to focus on others this year through your work. In doing so, we demonstrate a powerful witness to our colleagues of the Saviour we follow—the One who did not come to be served but to serve (Mark 10:45).”

Feeling worn down and burnt out by the effort of getting to the bottom of anything? Not sure who you can trust? And how can we be certain about what’s true and false anymore? Jonathan Rauch's book 'The Constitution of Knowledge' outlines some critical factors as to why we have entered such an epistemic crisis. Our Aaron Johnstone gives you a taster in his latest blog. Well worth a read!
