Mothers Day Prayer 🙏

Father God,
Thank you for giving us the gift of mother’s.
In all the loving they do -we see You Lord. We see an unconditional love that surpasses human understanding. We see overcoming strength and patience. We see compassion and empathy about the smallest details.
We see an array of gifting at hand for any given circumstance!
Thank you Father for designing
mothers to bring forth life. Nurture and shape life by the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.
Thank you for the power of motherhood and may every Nation be blessed by godly mothers
Bless all the mothers of this Nation
and in the world ( spiritual and natural mothers) with discernment and wisdom.
May they delight in every wonderful and challenging deed motherhood brings and may joy and laughter be found in their households.
May the deep desires of their hearts and their tearful supplications come pass.
And may all the children of the earth be found in the loving arms of a mother!

Late last year, I felt God whisper that we are stepping into a season of new wine and fresh oil. In scripture, new wine represents the renewing work of the Holy Spirit, a deep inner transformation.
New seasons don’t arrive instantly; they are prepared quietly. What feels like pressure or loss may be preparation. Grapes are crushed to produce wine. In God’s hands, pressing doesn’t destroy — it produces perseverance, character, and hope.
Our prayer theme is New Wine. Wine requires process, grapes are chosen, crushed, pressed, and refined.
Preparation always comes before the pouring of new wine. That is discipleship. That is spiritual maturity. God forms Christ within us slowly and intentionally. Jesus said new wine must be poured into new wineskins. Old wineskins can become rigid, like fixed mindsets, fear or control. But when Jesus calls us to cast our nets on the other side, He invites us to trust Him beyond what feels familiar.

New wine brings new mercy, new faith, new joy, but also stretching. If this season has felt heavy, you are not failing, you are being prepared. The pressing makes way for the pouring. We see this at the wedding in Cana. When the wine ran out, when joy seemed to dry up, Jesus stepped in. He didn’t simply replace what was lost, He transformed water into the best wine, revealing His glory. He produced abundance far more than was needed. It was a sign that He is the true Bridegroom, the source of lasting joy.

The question isn’t why the wine ran out. The question is: are we willing to trust Him in this new season? To become new wineskins flexible, teachable, available?
