Commemoration of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary 🤍

Today, we commemorate the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Through her humility, faith, and obedience to God, Mary became the chosen vessel through whom the Word became flesh. The Church honours her as the Ark of the Covenant and Second Heaven, and venerates her as a loving Mother and faithful intercessor.

“Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.”
- Luke 1:45 ♱

May we follow her example of faith and obedience, and may her prayers be with us and our families always 🙏🏼
