On 30 August 2026, the Thirteenth Sunday after Pentecost, when the memory of Saint Martyrs Myron, Martyr Patroclus and the Venerable Alympius Iconographer is commemorated, Matins and the Holy Divine Liturgy were served at the Church of Saint Prophet Ilija in Footscray.

During the Liturgy, the faithful gave thanks to God and received the Holy Mysteries of Christ.

Following the Liturgy, Sunday School was held for the children.

На 30 август 2026 година, во Тринаесеттата Недела по Педесетница, кога се празнува споменот на Свети маченици Мирон, маченик Патрокло и Преподобен Алимпиј Иконописец, во црквата Свети Пророк Илија во Футскрај, се богослужеше утрена богослужба и Света Божествена Литургија.

We are commemorating the Liturgical/Church New Year (14 September) with the introduction of the Learn the Liturgy series that will journey through and unpack the entire Divine Liturgy.

Join us for our first session this month on Tuesday - 29 September @ 7:00PM.

We will explore:
• The Meaning of the Divine Liturgy
• The Order of the Liturgy
• The Role of the Clergy
• The Role of the Choir and Faithful
With a focus on the beginning of the Liturgy to the First Blessing.

Prayerful Celebration of the Patronal Feast

On 9 August 2026, when the memory of Saint Kliment of Ohrid, Saint Sedmochislenici (Kiril, Metodij, Kliment and Naum of Ohrid, Sava, Gorazd and Angelarij) and Saint Great Martyr Panteleimon is commemorated, Matins and the Holy Divine Liturgy were served at the Church of Saint Great Martyr Panteleimon and Saint Sedmochislenici in Footscray.

During the Liturgy, the faithful gave thanks to God and partook of the Holy Mysteries of Christ.

Following the blessing of the festive bread and kolivo, in the church’s dining hall, a love feast was prepared by this year's hosts.
